Guitar Hero 3: Legends of Rock is nothing short of an exciting adventure into the realm of Rock and Roll. Dating back to some of the best groups from the 70s and 80s Guitar Hero has instantly become an overnight sensation. The game play is extraordinary and allows those who might not be instrumentally-inclined to play as some of their favorite rock and roll bands and battle against others in the race to be the best rocker in the world. This is definitely a game for all ages.
I recieved my GH3 bundle yesterday, it is a great game, it runs very smothly in my MBP, I was affraid it would not run as it should due to all the comments I read but my computer meets the minimum requirements and it works great, between songs it takes a while to load but thats ok, its about a minute no more than that, nothing that a memory upgrade wont fix, I played for 8 hrs yesterday with my kid and we both love it, looking forward for hours and hours of fun.
I love this game and it works flawlessly in my Macbook, I use it connected to the TV and home theater.I really suggest you buy this game, it's really entertaining specially if you own to guitars and play along with other.
it was just a few bucks more to get the game and guitar bundle than the guitar alone. any way there is one pro.
i guess if your an expert and beat tom morrello on some expert whammy bar crap then you might be able to unlock more. i don't know.
yeah this game run ok on my computer but i have a core 2 quad and 2gb or ram, however the guitar that comes with it is not very responsive but it does ok i guess the reason i hate this game is because you only get 9 songs. i just got it today and i'm so dissapointed i may never play it again.
even in practice mode there is only 9 songs. when i get around to it i might see if there are some cheats online to unlock some other songs.
this guitar works with frets on fire :op and thats the main reason i bought this anyway. so i guess it's no big deal
I love the heck out of guitar hero. I did try a series of fixes and none seem to help at all. This would be an excellent game if it would play properly. Most songs start out good, but just as you feel yourself start to rock out to it, suddenly it's out of sync and your left playing quiet notes while listening to post plays of your button mashing. The game does state it has issues with nvidia GPU's. I'm sure the console versions would've been a better choice.
